  Does EDI sell educational training materials?

No. EDI provides materials in all training sessions and the cost of those materials are reflected in all service agreements in the scope of service/work. Participants who are trained by EDI are provided a list of references as well.

  Is EDI a vendor providing supplemental services to students who attend a school that does not meet the NCLB AYP requirements?

  Does EDI provide training at its site or at the site of the client being served?

EDI is flexible. We provide training on-site for schools and agencies, at the EDI Training Facility, or other sites which may be procured and/or identified and reserved by the client receiving the training services or by EDI.

  Is EDI a part of an area university or college?
A:
 
No. EDI is an independent service provider. However, we do offer discount graduate credit through a collaborative partner.

  Does EDI provide support for passing the PRAXIS Examination?
A:
 
Yes. EDI provides classes for teachers preparing the for a variety of PRAXIS Examinations. Classes are scheduled for the fall, winter, spring and summer.
Q:
  Does EDI administer the PRAXIS?
A:
 
No. The PRAXIS is administered at sites throughout the county by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). Using ETS materials; however, EDI provides training preparation and support for taking the PRAXIS and uses ETS Practice Tests for the PRAXIS in the training.

  What assistance can EDI provide to educational aides/assistants?

EDI provides classes for educational aides preparing them for the PRAXIS ParaPro Examination. Classes are scheduled for the fall, winter, spring and summer.

  Does EDI provide any support to teachers and educational aides in addition to the test preparation classes?
A:
 
Yes, we provide both study group sessions and individual tutorial sessions to both teachers and educational aides? These services are also available to police officers, fire fighters, paramedics, and persons preparing for college placement tests.

  Do teachers and educational aides pay for their own classes and support services?
A:
 
Teachers and educational aides may pay EDI directly for services or they may request that their schools pay with monies from Title I or from the local school’s professional development budget.

  Yes, American Express, VISA, and Master Card.
